Security Guard License Louisiana

Security Guard License Louisiana requires its prospective security guards applying for license to:

1. Be 18 years old for unarmed guards; 21 years old for armed guards;

2. submit a correctly answered questionnaire

3. have a valid driver's license

4. have a State of Alabama Pistol License (for armed guards)

Required Training

The Louisiana State Board of Private Examiners requires that all Louisiana security guards to take the following three classes before a permit is issued. • 1st Eight Hour Class

• 2nd Eight Hour Class

• Initital Firearms Class
